The training is delivered at the Training in Partnership venue located in the Chantry Centre\, Andover. \nThe Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the government’s preferred and recommended training for health and social care staff. It aims to improve understanding of the needs\, experiences and barriers faced by autistic people and individuals with a learning disability when accessing health and care services. \nThis course is delivered in two interactive sessions of three hours each. Both sessions must be attended in order to complete the training and receive certification. \nThe training is designed to develop the knowledge\, skills and confidence of professionals so they can provide more inclusive\, compassionate and person-centred support.
