How the Split Course Works
This course is delivered as a split session programme, allowing participants to complete the training in two shorter sessions rather than one full day.
The training consists of:
Session 1, Learning Disability – 3 Hours
Session 2, Autism Session – 3 Hours
Both sessions are part of the same course and must be completed in order to finish the training.
Participants are required to attend both sessions in full to meet the requirements of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training – Tier 2 programme.
Before attending the first session, participants must also complete the required Oliver McGowan eLearning module.
This structure allows time between sessions for reflection while still ensuring participants gain the full knowledge and understanding required by the national training programme.
Important
Please ensure you are available to attend both training dates when booking, as places are reserved for the full course.
Certificates can only be issued once:
• The pre-course eLearning has been completed
• Session 1 has been attended
• Session 2 has been attended
